Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ThymeBean website at thymebean.one and enquiries for our precision AI services. By using this site or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms.
Services
ThymeBean provides artificial intelligence consulting, software module implementation, MLOps, and related technology services. Our brand metaphors (thyme, bean, flavour) refer exclusively to precision engineering and composable software modules — not food or beverage products.
Quotes and payment
Collection prices and marketing figures are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. Binding fees appear in signed statements of work. Invoices are due per agreed payment schedules; late payments may incur interest as permitted by law.
Intellectual property
Pre-existing ThymeBean IP, frameworks, and bean templates remain our property unless assigned in writing. Client data and bespoke deliverables are licensed or assigned as set out in project contracts.
Confidentiality
Both parties will protect confidential information disclosed during engagements, subject to standard exceptions for public information and legal compulsion.
Warranties
Services are performed with professional care. Except as expressly stated in a statement of work, services are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by applicable Canadian law. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes from AI models.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThymeBean's aggregate liability arising from these Terms or the website shall not exceed fees paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages except where prohibited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify ThymeBean against claims arising from misuse of deliverables, unlawful client data supplied to us, or breach of these Terms, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Montreal, Quebec shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes will be noted with an updated date.
